Well, our RTW trip has started at long last...
We're home in New Zealand now, after the first of 11 flights. It was a pleasant flight, as good as anyone could want really, apart from the fact that I spilt Mia's half full cup of water all over her less than 30 seconds after giving the kids a lecture about 'Being careful and not spilling their drinks all over themselves'... LOL!
Dallas loved the flight, but he's an aeroplane/helicopter nut anyway so we weren't really surprised, he announced to us that he wasn't getting off the plane he was going to stay on it forever cause it was 'cool'. It nearly blew his little mind to have his very own TV though, especially when he could watch Wall E and Horton Hears A Who to his hearts content...
Mia enjoyed the flight until the aircraft started to descend and her ears became painful. We tried giving her drinks and lollies but neither worked, she did seem to get some relief from sucking her thumb though.
Apres une semaine de vacances avec tous nos amis pour celebrer les 30 ans a Nicola et a d'autres, les choses serieuses etaient sur le point de commencer: 1er vol (sur 11) pour la Nouvelle Zelande, finalement on y est, les 9 mois commencent maintenant...
Vol tres plaisant, les enfants ont adore, si bien que Dallas ne voulait pas descendre de l'avion,
juste Mia a eu un peu mal au oreilles pendant la descente, donc on achetera des bouchons speciaux pour ca.
