The kids were not too impressed with the rather whiffy rhino aroma

Today we went and visited Le parc zoologique in Montepllier. Its a lovely free zoo which has bears, lions, rhinos and a whole bunch of other interesting animals. There were also a handful of beautifully carved wooden animal sculptures scattered around the park, which the kids needed photographs on every single one.

BUT.... By far the most interesting and memorable thing to happen today was this....

Mia finally lost her first wiggly tooth, she accidentally swallowed it whilst eating a ham baguette. She started crying when I told her her tooth was missing, as she really thought the tooth-fairy wouldn't come because she had no tooth to put under her pillow. She soon cheered up when we told her you got twice as much money if you swallowed your tooth though.
